Agenda 2009 ** MARZO **

Cuerpo: Hi all,
I know I’m a bit late, but I kept hoping the new site would be done and that I could announce it here. We are getting closer and closer. It should be in about a week. Really. I know I’ve said that before, but this time... I really think we’ll have it done.
The reason it’s taken so long is, it’s a social networking site unlike anything you’ve seen to date. It blows the doors off other sites and we want to make sure that it’s running properly so that it doesn’t frustrate all of you when you see it and try to use it. We have over two years of development in this thing. Two years of my life LOL. And I do have sneak peeks of it up...
As you can see, it’s miles ahead of the old site and I’m dying to launch it. Each piece is dynamically driven which means, it will change every time you view it. You'll see new scoops, new excerpts, new featured characters, friends, etc The DHOTM will now be on the regular page and the profiles there will integrate into the rest of the site. There is also a place for fan fiction and roleplay. As well as a separate passworded area for Fan Club members. The functionality and design will be mind-boggling. Character tweets and blogs will be posted, and you’ll be notified. You’ll have more direct interaction with not only the characters, but me as well. BTW, I could kill Andrew for putting my pic on the mock-up as the heroine. It's a good thing I love that man, LOL.
Speaking of direct interaction, I know I haven't updated the blog on MySpace. I have tried EVERYTHING, but for some reason I get an error message every single time and nothing will post. This has been going on for almost a month now. I am so sorry. I’ve sent emails, but nothing has fixed it.

For those who haven’t heard, I will be attending Imagicon at the end of the month, March 27-29 in Birmingham, AL.

April will not only bring in Spring showers and Acheron, but also Vol 1 of the Dark-Hunter Manga!! April 28th to be precise. The art for this is simply amazing.

I also want to take a moment and say THANK YOU to everyone. Dream Warrior spent two weeks at #1. I really can’t tell you all how much that means to me. Thank you so much for your support! And thank you to all the Australian fans who came out. The publisher and I were blown away by your support and attendance. All day long, the publicist kept telling me not to expect much. “Aussie’s just don’t que for anyone. It’s just not in our nature.” You guys not only lined up, you stayed. Thank you so much for the presents and the laughs and the great memories.
I have to admit when Dianna and I started to board the plane, I had a moment when I almost didn’t get on it. Anyone who knows me knows that I’m fine with planes, but as they called the flight, I had this huge panic attack and I didn’t think I could do it. Dianna leaned over and said, “think of the fans. They’re expecting you. Do you want to tell them you couldn’t make it?” That did it and I’m so glad I listened to her.

Erin has now sent out all the fan club packets. A tremendous thank you to him for a job well done.
This week he’ll be working on inventory and getting up the new items on the http://MightyBarnacle.com web store so that all of you can order the bears, shirts, necklaces and the Lords of Avalon: Knight of Darkness comic books. Please check in about Friday and he should have some of the new stuff up by then.
This month has also been good to us on the awards front. THANK YOU again to my readers and fans. ARRC and Galaxy Books (A FABULOUS store I might add in Oz) bestowed on me the Most Popular Paranormal for Acheron while I was there. It was voted on, I’m told by the readers. Thank you to all of you! Likewise Acheron won the RT Award for best paranormal. There were 4 PEARL Awards and the readers voted me their most favorite author. You guys are so kind and I love all of you dearly.
THANK YOU!!
Oh just remembered. K-Con. Registration will open in April and I will be sending out notes to let you know as we get closer to it so that you will have an equal chance at attending. Please keep your eyes posted on the website, bbs and newsletter groups for more info as we get closer.
Lastly, Bad Moon Rising is now available everywhere for preorders. This is Fang and Aimee’s story and you will be able to see how they first meet and other removed scenes from previous books such as the death of their sister and the night they arrive in Sanctuary to live. Cherise’s funeral, etc. Urian will meet Medea. There are a lot of secrets about the Bears that will be uncovered and an old enemy with a new agenda: To eradicate Sanctuary and kill the Bears. A major character will die as old alliances shatter and new ones are formed. I love this book and can’t wait for all of you to see it.
And on that note, I have to head back and get to work on Nick’s first book. For those who’ve asked, yes, it’s a YA. Since so many of the fans have been asking for years for me to do a Dark-Hunter series they can share with their children and the younger fans have pleaded with me to write something they can read, I give you CON (Chronicles of Nick). It starts when Nick is 14 and is a parallel universe to DH. There are 10 books planned for it and you will see him grow up to become what he is in the series.
You’ll also see the Devereaux sisters and Grace and Sunshine as teenagers. Simi. Wren and many other favorites. Book 1 which has no title yet, will be out in Feb 2010. I’ll let you guys know as soon as they open preorders on it.

Con respecto a DREAM WARRIOR, la Diosa Autora estará presentando el libro el día 3 de febrero en New York en el marco de la COMIC CON, el evento será público y gratuito.
El 7 de abril saldrá la versión de bolsillo de ACHERON.
En mayo saldrá POR FIN el primer tomo del Manga Dark-Hunter.
En agosto la historia de Fang y Aimee, BAD MOON RISING nos mostrará a ambos desde la primera vez que se conocieron en 2004 hasta el tiempo presente.
En septiembre el segundo tomo del Manga Dark-Hunter
Todo esto se irá agregando a nuestra agenda personal ¿o no?

en agosto sale en inglés... y unas semanas más hasta que lo traduzcan y podamos bajarlo de internet
yo tenia la esperanza de que pudiéramos hacer algo para que salgan las dos versiones, en inglés y en español a la vez... pero me parece imposible... no sé qué podríamos hacer para que nos hagan caso

Como ya dijeron por ahi, Sherri estuvo en myspace dandonos algunas noticias.
Entre lo mas destacado esta lo de BMR. Dice que un personaje importante morirá y otros surgirán. Que quieren destruir en santuario y que Uri y su hermana se encontrarán por 1ra vez.
Tambien nos cuenta sobre las historias de Nick y que las hizo xq los fans le pedían algo para compartir con sus hijos, algo que puedan leer, por eso tendremos libros mas juveniles.
Contó que el nuevo sitio estara listo en semanas, despues de dos años de preparación! Por fin!
Eso es de lo que me acuerdo ahora de lo que lei a las seis de la mañana. A la tarde paso a subir el mensaje original y demas detalles asi comentamos todo todo

ehhh! el 1er libro de las CON saldrían en febrero de 2010!!!!
y tambien dice que están actualizando todos los sitios que tiene (además de estrenar próximamente el nuevo)

Si de Daimon también "era" inmortal hasta que Stryker hizo lo que hizo, y gracias a Ash, Urian no murio del todo, y se volvio un "otro", los dark hunter son inmortales, tambien los Dream. No moriran de vejez pero si los puede llegar a matar ciertas circunstancias... Eso me preocupa . Igual que con Sasha

Si, yo tambien quiero "ver" eso, Sasha enamorado!! jejej (espero que su pareja, sea mejor que la pareja de Fury). Quiero varias respuestas como por ejemplo porque la patria de Sasha estaba de parte una diosa egipcia???Quien mas participo en esa pelea??? El juicio de los hermanos como fue???(ya sabemos como termino) Le queda familia viva??? Sasha pequeñito (tierno cachorrito)

Por las imagenes que muestra Sherri en su My Space debe haber quedado de re chupete, porque Kyrian esta igual de bueno como me lo imagine! Lo unico que espero es que no le saquen los dialogos de Nick, te matas de la risa.

Yo estoy esperando por la web nueva que hace rato está prometida. Lo que espero también es una parte en español, pero se que es mucho pedir.
Otra cosa, les comento: En su myspace Sherri pidió disculpas a los fans australianos porque muchos se quejaron mediante mails al no poder ir ella a otras ciudades que no fueran las importantes. Según ella eso lo arma su publicista, o sea, no depende de ella las ciudades que visita. Yo al publicista tendría muchas cosas que decirle, no en este caso porque me parece imposible también ir a cada PUEBLO de un país... pero sí le diria cosas en otros aspectos
